What Does Ads Stand for in Infinite Warfare
It feels like it's been a long time coming but Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is finally here and you should get ready to explore the final frontier.
You might be excited to take the lead as Captain Nick Reyes in the single-player campaign, or can't wait boogying-on down with the Hoff in 'Zombies in Spaceland', but we bet you'll be sinking many an hour into the Infinite Warfare multiplayer.
So to help you get started, sink a few minutes into our handy Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare tips and tricks guide.

1. Play it to death
This might sound stupid, but the more you play Infinite Warfare the better you'll get. Don't be disheartened by a rubbish kill:death ratio to begin with or that the other players are taking you out as soon as you've respawned, because even by participating in a match you're earning XP – even if you're totally rubbish.
More XP means ranking up your player level, unlocking more gear, payloads and abilities for your Combat Rigs and generally learning the maps and the modes inside out.
You'll be an Infinite expert in no time.
2. Learn which Combat Rig suits you
Combat Rigs are Infinite Warfare's version of the Specialists from Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, but they're a lot better.
When you first start playing the multiplayer, you'll be able to access three of these Combat Rigs out of a possible six. But each one caters to a totally different play style, so make sure to know what each one is great for before you go in.
And don't forget, Payloads are special weapons or abilities that you'll be able to use mid-game by getting scorestreaks or a certain number of kills, while Traits are unique skills that you equip for the entirety of a match.

3. Vary your weapon choices
There's no point using the same weapon over and over in Infinite Warfare because otherwise you'll limit the amount of XP you can get each match.
The more weapons you try, the higher the XP you can earn and the more equipment and attachments you can unlock.
Don't get stuck in a rut.
4. Complete challenges
Sign yourself up for a mission team or just head into the multiplayer and you'll be prompted to complete a set of challenges for each map.
Whether that's killing a certain amount of enemy team members with a specific weapon, or getting melee kills, they will change from mode to mode and map to map.
They're a great way to level up you and your Mission Team, so keep your eye on that top right-hand corner when the matches start.
5. Get involved with the weapon crafting because Prototypes are king

We've joked before about Call of Duty getting RPG-style crafting, but Infinite Warfare just went ahead and did it. However, unlike survival games and RPG titles, Call of Duty is doing crafting in a very streamlined and easy-to-understand way that also won't get in the way of your normal multiplayer experience.
In Infinite Warfare you can craft new Prototype versions of the base weapons you've unlocked using a new in-game currency called Salvage.
Once you've unlocked the base version of a weapon, you can use that Salvage to unlock better versions of it. And if you want to win in Infinite Warfare, you'll quickly discover that Prototype weapons are king.
Prototypes can be crafted at four different levels – Common, Rare, Legendary and Epic – with each tier including its own combo of special perks and abilities.
This, combined with the new Combat Rigs, should give you plenty of ways to customise and personalise your loadout.
6. How to get salvage
Salvage is the stuff that lets you unlock prototype weapons and kit yourself out with the perfect loadout for your play style.
• Daily rewards
One thing that's particularly great about Infinite Warfare's multiplayer is that there's a daily rewards scheme that gives you presents for your loyalty. Whether it's keys, or salvage, there should be a lovely little parcel with your name on it for every day you play Infinite Warfare. So don't forget to check in.
• Level up your Mission Team
For every match you play you'll be given a few challenges that you have the option to complete. They will range both in objective and reward, but they're a great way to earn yourself some salvage.
That's because every challenge you complete will earn you a different level of points, and these point equate to you levelling up your mission team.
At Level 4, you'll learn 50 salvage, at level 14 you get 150, at level 20 you get 300, and at level 29 you get 400.
• Buy rare supply drops for 30 keys
Every time you open a rare supply crate using 30 keys, which you'll earn by levelling up and playing matches, you actually get a salvage bonus.
- Burn• duplicate gear
A bit like in Destiny you can nab yourself some salvage by burning or breaking down any duplicate or unwanted gear you have.
